Novoviah develops customised ultrasensitive “Novoleukin” test kits to measure antigen-specific T cells during clinical trials. 

• Uses a proprietary format for antigen stimulation of whole blood combined with ultrasensitive IL-2 +/- other cytokine immunoassays to monitor rare antigen-specific T cells.
  
  
• Designed for community trial sites and outperforms ELISpot, its sensitivity for rare antigen-specific T cells is similar to best-in-class but laborious MHC-peptide multimer assays.
  
  
• Simplifies blood handling with only 4ml for each condition (no separation of PBMC).
  
  
• Immediate application for clinical research and development when rare antigen-specific T cells are measured in patients e.g. pharmaceutical and vaccine clinical trials, companion diagnostics or stand-alone diagnostics for T cell-mediated disease or adverse effects.

Fit for purpose

We have developed a proprietary testing system to standardise optimal conditions for T-cell stimulation and measurement in blood drawn in the clinic.

The protocol allows a closed, in-tube blood incubation step followed by simple plasma separation that can be easily rolled out across community sites.
